Overview

Industry 4.0, or Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), enables the dynamic management of complex processes by connecting machines, information and people across all business functions. Connected equipment can provide near real-time information to all interested parties, enabling cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decisions. 

In a manufacturing environment, for example, connected devices can provide data on the process cycle times, product/material flow, process performance (data from measurements) for your KPIs, capability studies and preventive maintenance.

Bridge the gap to Industrial IoT

While many large organisations already enjoy the benefits of Industry 4.0, only a small percentage of SMEs have adopted Industry 4.0 practices or even have an IoT strategy.
